Mobile market leaders continue to decline until end 2005
Stuttgart, Germany 14th December, 2005 Mobile market leaders experience in
their home market continuously declining market shares as competition heats up with new entrants such as MVNOs.
The latest data from Teleseeq, InfoCom´s market intelligence solution, shows that in 2005, TIM will experience
the largest drop in market share over the period among the selected companies, losing around 3 percentage points to 44,8% of the market end-2005.
Telefonica still acounts for most of the Spanish mobile market at 50,4%, down from 52,8%,
while estimates put Orange with the same market share as TIM with 44,8%. O2 is the only company that slightly inverted the trend in 2005.
