The Eastern European telecommunications service market
—  including Cable TV — should evolve at a CAAGR     (Compounded Average Annual Growth Rate) of about     18% over the period 1999-2004, accounting for nearly     US$46 billion in 2004, about 4% of the total world market     for communications services (Tab. 1).
