Mobile prepaid customers

Of the countries examined in Fig. 1, and indeed throughout Europe, Italy remains the country with the highest prepaid customer base, representing approximately 90% of all mobile users. This proportion is very similar between the three main Italian mobile operators (TIM, Vodafone and Wind), and only 3, the latest newcomer, has a lower proportion of prepaid subscribers, since it initially offered only contracts, before introducing prepaid offers as well.
