WiMAX potential in Germany

WiMAX is a new broadband radio technology, amongst others pushed by Intel, and the objective of this article is to analyse its potential in Germany. In a first part we look at the current situation in terms of fixed broadband access, in particular as regards DSL. In a second part we compare the main available radio broadband technologies and present the situation concerning available radio frequencies and regulation.
