Total telecom spending over the last ten years


The present article looks at telecom spending as a share of GDP and per inhabitant for a selection of countries over the last ten years. In a second step it also analyses the breakdown of telecom spending between the various sectors. Telecom services such as paging, telex or telegraph are not considered as they have been accounting for a small and declining proportion of telecom budgets over the last years.
